Setting an agenda for policy change to promote youth employment for 2024-2029

16 May 2024

Building on its efforts to date, and to refine a focused call to action following the elections, between 29th February – 22nd March the Youth Capital team spoke to 181 people, representing 78 organisations across six provinces. These consultations were an opportunity to present, redefine and launch key policy recommendations with civil society, researchers, youth formations and other non-government partners. Engaging across these six different provinces from rural to urban communities shaped Youth Capital’s understanding of the nuances that the advocacy points for the next administration need to encapsulate.
