Youth Capital kicked off its new series, Yes or No? Is youth unemployment a priority of the 2024 elections? – 30 minute dialogues with representatives of political parties, facilitated by journalist Nicholaus Bauer and youth activists – in the first instalment, we asked parties about their plans for youth employment, with a focus on public employment programmes and the Presidential Employment Stimulus, township economies and skills.

In this interview with Newzroom Afrika, Youth Capital’s Project Leader discusses the importance of these conversations ahead of the State of the Nation Address, Budget Speech and the national elections.
